Little Allie Moore, nobody paid attention to,
thought working hard was all she could do.
Sitting in the office she clothed herself well,
underneath was a woman none could tell.
Spring came ‘round and the boys would say,
it’s the company baseball game we’re to play.
But never did they ask little Allie to take part,
they’d never know how they broke her heart.
Now she’d take control and show up to play,
decided it was time to break out in a big way.
Her all-state brothers taught her a thing or two,
on how to hit a ball the way that they knew.
Up to the plate with a chuckle in the crowd,
they wondered why she was here, is it allowed?
With a swing of the bat she showed all at last,
how to hit the ball with a mountainous blast.
Into the air and over the fence that ball did fly,
touching each base she’d give a wink of an eye.
She saw the boys sulking standing in the grass,
and said suck it boys I’m here to kick your ass.
